"Our primary focus is not selling cigars, it's the club atmosphere, the camaraderie," said owner Kendall Culbertson. "We're excited to get out to Johnson County and have a great time."
The location is near Corbin Park and features a large parking area, perfect for Outlaws events which often feature outside components like car shows, even helicopters.
Culbertson opened his first Outlaws at 6234 N. Chatham Ave., in the Northland, in 1997.
It is known for hosting large events that attract as many as 2,000 people.
For example, on July 11 the Kansas City Police Department will bring in their SWAT team, helicopters, K-9 unit, motorcycles as just part of the activities going on.
