Brick House

J. C. Newman spokesperson Jessica Campbell issued a press release this morning detailing the reinvention of a classic brand from the company's storied past., the Brick House.

TAMPA, Fla. –   The J.C. Newman Cigar Company has announced the return of Brick House cigars. The brand, originally known for its ornate artwork and affordable price, is scheduled to hit shelves this fall after a 50 year hiatus.

The cigars will continue their legacy as an economical option for consumers, retailing for only $5. All Brick House cigars will come with a strict price protection, allowing smoke shops to compete with online discount warehouses. These websites, who often sell their products at or below the cost of production, threaten the existence of mom and pop cigar stores.

“Cigar shops are our bread and butter,” said president of J.C. Newman Cigar Company Eric Newman. “Brick House cigars will offer an affordable post-SCHIP price for our customers, while maintaining full keystone profits for retailers.”

Brick House Cigars will feature an Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper with a Habana seed. They will be available in boxes of 25 and in the following sizes:

            Churchill                       7 x 50
            Toro                              6 x 52
            Robusto                       5 x 54
            Corona Larga                6 ¼ x 46
