Rocky Patel Premium Cigars has brought two new releases to the market in recent months–Rocky Patel LB1 and a new batch of Aged, Rare and Limited.

Rocky Patel LB1 is a new line from Rocky Patel Premium Cigars that debuted at the 2019 International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR) trade show. Rocky Patel LB1 is a medium-bodied cigar that features an Ecuadoran Habano wrapper and contains both Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco in its blend. Named after the factory code it these cigars were assigned during pre-production at the El Paraiso factory in Danli, Hondurans, Rocky Patel LB1 is available in five different sizes: Corona (6 x 44), Robusto (5 1/2 x 50), Toro (6 1/2 x 52), Churchill Shaggy Foot (7 x 48) and Sixty (6 x 60). MSRP per cigar ranges from $8.25 to $10.90.

Also from Rocky Patel Premium Cigars is a new version of the Rocky Patel Aged, Limited and Rare (ALR) cigar, now available in limited quantities.

Aged, Limited and Rare was first released in 2018 but the 2019 version is different in that its production is very limited and the cigar is made in batches. According to a report from Cigar Aficionado, the latest Aged, Limited and Rare is made by just 10 rollers in Nicaragua and these cigars have been aging since 2017. Aged, Limited and Rare was rolled at Rocky Patel’s TaviCusa Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The new cigars are also box-pressed and made with filler tobaccos grown at Patel’s farms located in Estelí and Condega, Nicaragua. Aged, Limited and Rare features a dark, Mexican San Andrés wrapper and is available in three different vitolas: Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Toro (6 1/2 x 52), and Sixty (6 x 60). MSRP per cigar ranges from $13 to $15.

Only 2,000 20-count boxes per size of the 2019 Aged, Rare and Limited were made. Once these cigars are gone, cigar smokers will have to wait another year for the next Aged, Rare and Limited release. Both Aged, Rare and Limited and Rocky Patel LB1 are available now in retail stores.
