Less than a week from the opening of the International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers' Association trade show in New Orleans, Miami Cigars & Company is revealing its new developments through company press releases. The Nestor Miranda Collection, newly introduced and promoted just a two  months ago on Nestor Miranda Day, at over 500 stores nationwide, is being developed as the comapny's flagship line in honor of founder and president Nestor Miranda. This includes bringing the Don Lino 1989 into the Nestor Miranda Collection line.

 

“MIAMI CIGAR’S NESTOR MIRANDA COLLECTION CONTINUES TO GROW” 

Miami, FL, 4 August 2009…Miami Cigar & Company is going to introduce two new versions of highly successful cigars, in their Nestor Miranda Collection, at the IPCPR in New Orleans early next month. 

The Lancero, currently produced in a Nicaraguan Habano Rosado wrapper will be joined by a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro version, while the Ruky, currently made in an Oscuro will have a companion wrapped in a Rosado wrapper. Thus, the complete “Collection” will be available in both wrappers, in all vitolas. 

 

The Nestor Miranda Collection is sold only at five hundred brick and mortar tobacconists throughout the country. These five hundred tobacconists constitute the Authorized Dealers designated to carry the line. 

Successful from its introduction in early 2008, the cigar was blended anew and started being shipped to dealers in November. The line was an instant success, and the newly blended version was even more highly regarded and received higher ratings. 

National Nestor Miranda Cigar Day, celebrated at all five hundred Authorized Dealers on Friday, 12 June clearly established the loyalty of smokers and the interest of the uninitiated in sampling the 20 Anniversario version, the Danno. This stick is also available in the two distinct wrappers.

Shipments of the two new versions will begin towards the beginning of September.
